A Journey....

Well, I got a lot of news to catch everyone up on.
The reason you haven't heard from me in however long is due to the last few months of school. Granted most of the summer has come and gone, I've still been busy with other projects.
However a bunch of exciting news!
To start, a film I was hired to do visual effects for ("Coup De Cinema" Click link for more information) was nominated in the "Action on Film" Film Festival in LA for "Best Title Sequence" and last, but not least "Best Visual Effects" it didn't win for Visual Effects, but it was still great that it got nominated.
Now for our "Back to the Future" Fan film, it was morphed into a greater project. It's still in Post-Production, only a few little details are left. I'm not going to say much about it to over-hype it, however, "Back to the Future" plays a small role, as well as many other pop-culture media, such as "Star Wars", "Glee", and "Scott Pilgrim"
We also have another short video coming out shortly, very effects heavy, just a little something cool and fun to watch. Not ideal, but for a days work, and no pre-planning it was alright
Finally for one of our last bits of news, definitely the most exciting by far, "Spirit Day"(w.i.p. Title) is back on the road. After a long detour, and going through heavy remodeling, the film has taken a few leaps, skipping the last portion of the outline, the script has begun, and is roughly 10% completed. We look forward to having at least a rough draft completed by October at the latest.

Where we're going

We don't need roads! But we do need a Delorean, we are currently waiting for our miniature model to be shipped. The script is just about half done so still a bit of work to do. In other news, we look forward to releasing some shorts skits soon. A new month is soon to be upon us, we hope it will be a great one. See ya next week.

Flux Capacitor... Fluxing

The script for "Back to the Future" is about 1/3 complete, the progress we're making is quite good. We're looking forward to seeing this project completed.
As for other news, Spirit Day is still on momentary hiatus.
Shorts and Skits, will be filmed, and uploaded over the next few months, so keep a look out for those.
I will of course include these shorts and skits in links on this blog.
Check out more exciting news next week, see you then.

Great Scott!

Hey welcome back my wonderful blog readers!
The "Back to the Future" film is running smoothly so far. We have ordered our model DeLorean and it should be arriving in the mail within the next couple of weeks. The costumes are still being acquired, but we are making great progress.
Marty McFly(RyanHewlett)

So what is our "Back to the Future" film about?

Doc Brown and Marty McFly, go back to July 6, 1776 and unknowingly stop the signing of the declaration of independence causing Great Britain be in control of the U.S. Territory.

That's all we have for this week, see ya guys next week!

Outline 50%

A dawning process, the outline for Spirit Day is near half-way done. I've got about 50% of the story laid out where I want it.
I hope to have it finished before the end of the month, from there I plan to write the first draft of the script, and I'll do some story boarding as well.
I shall post some of the concept story board photos, when we cross that bridge.
From now on I'll be doing a weekly blogpost, so until next week. Try not to die.
